Mummified body, half lizard, half man
Razor sharp claws on his tiny hands

Found under rocks or in rotted trees
When caught by humans he will suddenly freeze
He looks like a fetish doll carved from wood
But begins to move when he's placed near blood
They call him the Jenglot, half lizard, half man

He lives in the jungle - seek him out if you dare
He will grant you a wish if you so desire
But an offering of blood is what he requires
He demands that you quench his grisly thirst

EXPLANATION: Jenglot (Indonesia)
Jenglots are small creatures resembling wooden dolls or tiny skeletons. They have wild hair, sharp teeth and nails, and bodies of either tiny men or lizards. If a Jenglot is found, he must be fed with either the blood of a goat or a human. As Jenglots are claimed to be abundantly found in Indonesia, the blood fed to them can actually be purchased legally from the Indonesian Red Cross. It is said the Jenglot can grant your wishes if it is pleased with you.
